Ink Pro Suede + Raised Silver Foil Postcards combine full-color printing on both sides with soft velvet lamination and raised silver metallic details. They suit invitations, launch announcements, promotional mailers, and handouts where selected names, logos, or graphics need a tactile finish.
Materials and choices
- 16 pt C2S cardstock with 1.5 mil scuff-resistant soft velvet laminate on each side; approximately 19 pt finished thickness.
- Square-corner sizes: 4 × 6 or 5 × 7 inches.
- Fixed packs: 100, 250, or 500 postcards. Quantity is the number of postcards per pack; cart quantity counts identical packs.
- Silver is the fixed foil color. Foil may be applied to the front only or both sides. Both-side foil treatment is included; front-only artwork receives no reduction.
Artwork and foil requirements
Prepare CMYK print artwork at 300 dpi with 0.0625 inch bleed on each edge, or 0.125 inch total bleed. Supply a separate vector foil mask for every foiled side. Use solid 100% black for foil areas and white for unfoiled areas. Do not use gradients, grayscale, shadows, glows, or transparency in the mask; avoid knockouts.
Allow up to 1/16 inch movement between print and foil. Keep foil coverage at 30% or less; up to 50% is allowed only for patterns, thin strokes, or small shapes. Individual foil areas should ideally fit within 1 × 1 inch. Avoid foil-mask text below 10 pt and use 12 pt or larger for heavier lettering. Rush production, proof services, and completed samples are not included.
