Terms of Service

1. Who we are

InkFE is operated by InkFE, LLC (“InkFE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We print customized products, such as business cards, from designs you create or personalize with our tools.

If you use InkFE for a business or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it, and “you” includes that organization.

2. Where we sell

We currently sell to shipping addresses in the United States and Canada. Prices are in US dollars. For Canadian orders, Shopify checkout shows shipping, taxes, any duties, and any currency conversion before you pay. We may decline or cancel, with a full refund, an order addressed outside the areas we serve.

3. Accounts and guest use

You can browse products and templates without an account. Guests can also create a design and start checkout without signing in.

Saving a design to an InkFE account, and future account features such as reordering, require you to sign in so we can verify that the design belongs to you. InkFE accounts are customer accounts provided through Shopify. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account and for telling us promptly if you believe it has been misused.

4. Designs, proofs, and approval

Before you pay, you will see a proof of your design. For two-sided products, you will see both sides. Please check every proof carefully, including spelling, names, phone numbers, email and web addresses, QR codes, layout, and print options.

When you approve a proof, you confirm that it is correct and that we may print it as shown with the options you selected. We print the approved proof; we do not correct content errors after approval. Changing the artwork creates a new proof that needs a new approval.

Screens and paper render color differently. Small variations in color, trim, and paper texture within normal print tolerances are not defects. Our Return and Refund Policy describes the tolerances and what counts as a defect.

5. Ordering, prices, and payment

Payment is handled through Shopify’s hosted checkout and its payment providers. An order is placed only when you complete payment in Shopify checkout. A design, proof, approval, quote, or cart is not an order, and none of them charges you.

Prices shown in our tools or quotes cover the product and pack size you selected. Shipping, taxes, discounts, and your final total are calculated and shown in Shopify checkout, where you confirm them before paying. A quote is not a price lock; if a price changes before you pay, checkout shows the current price.

We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund of any amount paid, if the product is unavailable, a price or listing error occurred, we suspect fraud or unauthorized use, the order is addressed outside the areas we serve, or the content cannot be printed under Section 11.

6. Production and shipping

Production times shown on product pages or quotes are estimates in business days, not guarantees. Shipping options, carriers, and costs are shown at checkout. Transit time depends on the carrier, and we do not promise a delivery date unless we state one for a specific order.

Please give a complete and accurate shipping address. Report carrier damage as described in our Return and Refund Policy.

7. Returns and refunds

Custom products are made to your approved design and are not returnable for a change of mind. If an order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved proof, we will reprint it or refund it as set out in our Return and Refund Policy.

8. AI apps and the InkFE connector

You can use InkFE through AI apps that support the Model Context Protocol by connecting them to our endpoint at https://www.inkfe.com/api/mcp. Setup instructions are in our connection guide.

• Your AI app acts on your instructions. It can browse our catalog, personalize a supported template, show you proofs, and start a Shopify checkout for you. You are responsible for the requests you make and the approvals you give through it.
• Approval covers the exact proofs. Approving in your AI app covers the exact front and back artwork and print options shown. It is not payment; you still review the final total and pay in Shopify checkout.
• No in-chat payment. InkFE orders placed through AI apps are paid in Shopify checkout, never inside the chat. Never give card details or verification codes to an AI chat.
• Quotes expire. A quote given through the connector is valid for a short time and is not a price lock or delivery promise. If it expires, you will be asked to confirm a new one.
• Your connection is revocable. If you sign in, your AI app receives a revocable permission for the access you approve, not your password. You can revoke it at any time from AI connections.

AI apps are provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for how an AI app works, what it says, or how it handles your information. Always check the proofs themselves before approving; the proofs, not the AI app’s description of them, show what we will print.

9. Design storage and retention

Designs you save to your account remain available while your account is active, subject to these Terms. Artwork linked to an order is kept as part of our order records.

Guest drafts that are not saved to an account and not linked to a checkout or order are temporary. We may delete them 30 days after they are created. Please save a design to your account if you want to keep it.

Drafts kept in your browser are separate. Clearing your browser’s site data may remove an unsaved local draft. See our Privacy Policy for how we store and handle design information.

10. Your content

You keep ownership of the text, logos, images, and other content you provide (“Your Content”). You give InkFE a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and format Your Content, and to share it with our production and fulfillment partners, only as needed to show you proofs, produce and deliver your orders, provide support, and operate and protect the service.

As our Privacy Policy explains, we do not reuse your artwork, logos, photographs, or prompts for portfolios, social posts, public templates, or model training.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for Your Content, including any trademarks, logos, photographs, and other people’s names and contact details, and that printing it will not infringe anyone’s rights or break the law.

11. Content we will not print

We may refuse to print, or cancel with a refund, an order whose content we reasonably believe:

• Infringes a copyright, trademark, or other right, or uses someone’s name or likeness without permission.
• Is unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive, including impersonating a person or organization, or imitating currency, identification, or official documents.
• Is sexually explicit, exploits minors, threatens or harasses others, or promotes violence or hatred.
• Could create legal or safety risk for InkFE or others.

12. Acceptable use

When using InkFE, you agree not to:

• Interfere with, overload, or bypass the security, usage limits, or access controls of the website or connector.
• Scrape or copy our catalog, templates, or proofs in bulk, or use automated tools other than an AI app acting on your own instructions.
• Access another customer’s designs, orders, or connections, or share access credentials, guest tokens, or private checkout links.
• Use InkFE to break the law or harm others.

13. InkFE templates and materials

Our website, design tools, templates, fonts, graphics, and other materials belong to InkFE or its licensors. You may use our templates to create designs that you order from InkFE. You may not resell, redistribute, or extract our templates or tools, or use them to produce products elsewhere.

Some website features use AI to help generate artwork. AI output can be inaccurate or resemble existing work. Check it as you would any proof, and do not approve it unless you are satisfied it is correct and appropriate to print.

14. Disclaimers and limits of liability

Except as stated in these Terms and our Return and Refund Policy, and to the extent permitted by law, InkFE provides the website, design tools, and connector “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, InkFE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the service or your orders. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

You agree to indemnify InkFE against claims arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

16. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms as our services change. We will post the revised Terms with a new date. Changes apply to orders placed after they are posted; the Terms in effect when you placed an order apply to that order.

We may suspend or end access to the service, an account, or a connection that breaks these Terms or puts others at risk. You may stop using InkFE at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as Your Content, disclaimers, and limits of liability, survive.
