A finished design should not need a costume change before it can be printed.
InkFE Designer now accepts single-page PDF files directly. If a designer, agency, or another print shop gave you final artwork as a PDF, you can upload that file without first converting it to a JPG or PNG.
Upload the file you already have
- Choose your product
- Open InkFE Designer
- Upload your PDF from the Upload panel on the left sidebar.
We’ll prepare the page for the canvas as a high-resolution image so you can position it, review the fit, and continue to checkout.
The artwork is flattened when it enters the Designer. That keeps the original page together as one design instead of turning every line of text, logo, and mysterious clipping mask into separate editable pieces. PDFs contain multitudes. Sometimes too many!
Front and back files
For a two-sided product, upload one single-page PDF for the front and another for the back. Switch sides in the Designer, then place each file on the corresponding canvas.
A few useful checks before uploading
- Use a single-page PDF: multi-page documents are not yet supported.
- Use the final page size: artwork built to the product’s dimensions will be easier to place accurately.
- Include bleed: extend backgrounds and images beyond the trim edge when the design runs to the edge.
- Remove passwords: encrypted or password-protected PDFs cannot be processed.
- Review the proof: check the canvas carefully before ordering, especially small text and anything close to a cut line.
